ThinkificAutomation & Integration
Connect Thinkific students, courses, enrollments, progress, orders, and supported events across your stack.
Thinkific exposes site-scoped users, courses, products, enrollments, progress, orders, and supported webhooks. I connect authorized records to onboarding, support, communication, and reporting workflows.

How I use Thinkific
A private Thinkific integration can use a site-scoped API Access Token, while an installable public app uses OAuth and Thinkific's review process. I connect authorized enrollment, course, progress, order, and webhook data to CRM, billing, support, and messaging systems. External Orders are treated separately because records created through that API do not appear in the site's orders report or dashboard.

Authentication and access
Use a site-scoped API Access Token for a private integration or Thinkific's OAuth authorization flow for an installable app. Send the resulting bearer token to the Admin API and use a separate API key or token as required by the webhook setup.
Useful data and actions
- Users, courses, products, bundles, groups, coupons, instructors, and custom profile fields
- Enrollments, completion or progress fields, orders, promotions, and external-order records exposed by the Admin API
- Supported webhook subscriptions and events for near-real-time site changes
Constraints to confirm
- Tokens act from the Site Owner perspective; store them as secrets, set deliberate expiry dates, and plan rotation because removal immediately breaks dependent integrations.
- Public App Store apps require OAuth and Thinkific review, while private one-site integrations can use API access tokens; feature and app requirements can still vary by plan.
- External Orders created through the API are stored but do not appear in the site's orders report or dashboard, so reporting workflows must account for that distinction.
