monday.comAutomation & Integration
Turn monday.com into a live workflow engine for sales, marketing, and client operations.
monday.com boards can represent pipelines, campaigns, onboarding, and internal operations. I build automations that connect authorized board changes to defined handoffs, alerts, and reporting workflows.

How I use monday.com
I connect selected status changes, item creation, and board updates with forms, CRM events, calendars, messaging, or billing tools. The implementation requests only the boards, workspaces, and webhook scopes it needs, and it stays within the account's plan-based call and complexity budgets. Reporting reflects the mapped source data and sync schedule rather than assuming every board is current by default.

What the integration supports

Authentication and access
Use a personal V2 API token for an internal connection or monday OAuth for an installed app. Personal-token access mirrors the user's UI permissions; app tokens add explicit scopes such as boards:read or write and webhooks:read.
Useful data and actions
- Boards, groups, items, subitems, updates, and files
- Column definitions and typed column values
- Users, teams, workspaces, tags, and ownership
- Board activity and selected item or column changes through webhooks
Constraints to confirm
- GraphQL queries have a 5 million-point per-query ceiling plus rolling complexity budgets; request only needed fields and inspect the complexity response.
- Plan-based daily limits are 1,000 calls for Free, Basic, and Standard, 10,000 soft-limit calls for Pro, and 25,000 soft-limit calls for Enterprise.
- Per-minute and concurrent request limits also vary by plan; webhook creation and reads require the relevant app scope, and webhook delivery is retried once per minute for 30 minutes.
- Tokens never expand the installing user's board or workspace visibility. monday remains the record owner, and two-way sync needs explicit rules for column types, archived items, and competing edits.
