PipedriveAutomation & Integration
Automate Pipedrive lead handling, deal movement, and sales follow-up workflows.
Pipedrive provides structured leads, deals, activities, and pipeline stages for sales workflows. I build automations that connect those records with meetings, proposals, tasks, and billing systems.

How I use Pipedrive
I use Pipedrive to route inbound leads, create next actions from deal stages, sync selected communication activity, and start onboarding or invoice workflows when a deal closes. API v2 is preferred where it covers the required resource because requests consume a company-level daily token budget. Two-way flows also define how ownership, merges, deletions, and competing updates are resolved.

What the integration supports
Facts checked
Authentication and access
Use OAuth 2.0 authorization-code access for an app installed by Pipedrive users; a personal API token is appropriate only for a private account-specific integration. Select granular entity scopes plus webhooks:read or webhooks:full when event registration is required.
Useful data and actions
- Persons, organizations, leads, and ownership
- Deals, pipelines, stages, products, and revenue fields
- Activities, notes, files, mail threads, and users
- Field metadata, permissions, and change events from webhooks
Constraints to confirm
- API calls consume a company-level daily token budget that varies by plan and seat count; API v2 endpoints generally cost fewer tokens than v1.
- Marketplace apps need the appropriate OAuth scopes, and app-created webhooks are owned by that app and removed when the user uninstalls it.
- A single app can create at most 40 app-specific webhooks per app user; failed endpoints are retried, can be temporarily banned, and may be deleted after three days without a successful delivery.
- API results are limited by the installing user's permissions. Pipedrive remains the sales system of record, so ownership, merges, and deletions require conflict rules in any two-way sync.
