How I use Modento
The Engagement Bridge normally runs on the PMS database server or another always-on Windows machine. It can support patient demographics, appointments, treatment history, forms, consents, payments, messages, and communication status, but modules and writeback vary by PMS, software version, subscription, and mapping. Synchronization is not universally real-time: Dental Intelligence documents real-time, on-open, manual, and nightly cadences for different features.

Constraints to confirm
- The Engagement Bridge normally runs on the PMS database server or another always-on Windows machine; duplicate bridges for one database are not supported.
- Supported modules and writeback behavior depend on the PMS, PMS version, Dental Intelligence subscription, and field mappings.
- Analytics data is generally refreshed nightly, while engagement features use a mix of real-time, on-open, manual, and nightly synchronization.
- PMS upgrades or server changes should be coordinated with Dental Intelligence Support because incompatible versions can interrupt or invalidate the sync.
