MercuryGateAutomation & Integration

Connect a provisioned MercuryGate deployment to shipment, carrier, and exception workflows.

I connect the API, EDI, SFTP, extracts, or partner interfaces provisioned for a customer's MercuryGate deployment to specific communication, reporting, and task workflows. Scope depends on the TMS version, hosting model, modules, and trading-partner approvals.

How I use MercuryGate

MercuryGate does not publish one self-service public API contract for every deployment. I first verify the customer's implementation guide, credentials, schemas, and event or extract capabilities, then use available load, stop, tender, carrier, document, and status data for alerts, reporting, communication, and task routing. Carrier rates and customer shipment data stay within the permissions of the underlying agreements.

What the integration supports

Facts checked

Authentication and access

MercuryGate provisions integration endpoints and credentials within the customer's TMS deployment or through an approved MercuryConnect implementation. The authentication method can differ for API, EDI, SFTP, and partner connections.

Useful data and actions

  • Loads, shipments, stops, routes, equipment, and execution milestones
  • Carrier rates, tenders, acceptances, status updates, and delivery events
  • Orders, documents, invoices, audit records, and customer references
  • Extracts and operational events enabled in the customer's configured TMS workflow

Constraints to confirm

  • MercuryGate does not publish one self-service public API specification or credential flow for all customer deployments; validate the customer's version, hosting model, licensed modules, and implementation guide.
  • Carrier, customer, and trading-partner approval may be required. API calls, EDI messages, managed file transfer, and event delivery must be configured against the customer's actual TMS workflows.
  • Rates, carrier performance, documents, and customer shipment data remain governed by the applicable carrier, customer, and MercuryGate agreements; do not republish or train on them without explicit rights.
