How I use Curve Dental
Curve does not publish a self-service API contract with universal scopes, methods, or rate limits. Instead, Curve-approved partners receive authentication and permissions during onboarding. Public integration examples cover patient contact data, appointment availability and booking, payment posting, eligibility checks, and practice analytics. The safe implementation plan confirms each data flow and writeback with Curve before treating it as available.

Authentication and access
Curve provides authentication and data permissions during approval and onboarding for a Curve-authorized integration partner; no self-service public authentication specification is published.
Useful data and actions
- Patient contact information
- Appointment availability and bookings
- Payments posted to patient ledgers
- Insurance eligibility and remaining benefits
- Practice reports and analytics
Constraints to confirm
- Curve's application terms permit data access through Curve-approved third-party software, so a generic direct database connection is not an equivalent route.
- Authentication, environments, rate limits, and exact read/write permissions must be confirmed during partner onboarding.
- Capabilities are partner-specific: an integration that reads contacts does not imply that every Curve data domain is writable.
- Product access is governed by the practice's subscription and order form; applicable CDT content also carries ADA terms.
