CosmoLexAutomation & Integration
Connect supported CosmoLex contacts, matters, and enabled native tools to firm-wide workflows.
CosmoLex combines legal billing, accounting, and practice management. I build firm-wide Zapier workflows around the connector's supported contacts, matters, and selected workflow records.

How I use CosmoLex
CosmoLex documents Zapier as its general automation path and provides separate native integrations for selected email, calendar, document, billing, and payment tools. I verify the live connector's triggers and actions before scoping a workflow because availability can change. Firm-wide Zaps require careful filtering, and trust, ledger, invoice, or payment records are never altered without firm-approved accounting rules and exception review.

What the integration supports
Facts checked
Authentication and access
Use CosmoLex's documented Zapier integration and connect the firm's CosmoLex account with an authorized user. Native email, calendar, document-storage, payment, and other listed integrations have their own vendor-specific authorization flows.
Useful data and actions
- Contacts and matters supported by the current CosmoLex Zapier triggers and actions
- Selected workflow records exposed by the installed connector, such as supported tasks, notes, time, or cost events
- Calendar, document, email, billing, or payment data only through the specific native integration enabled by the firm
Constraints to confirm
- CosmoLex documents Zapier as the general automation path; available triggers and actions can change and must be checked in the live connector before scoping.
- CosmoLex Zaps are firm-wide rather than user-specific, so trigger filtering and destination access need deliberate controls.
- Trust, ledger, invoice, and payment records should not be altered or reconciled automatically without firm-approved accounting rules and exception review.

Internal task or notification flows based on supported connector records
Calendar, document, or payment workflows through the firm's enabled native integration
Reporting feeds limited to fields exposed by the installed connector
