MyCaseAutomation & Integration
Connect MyCase leads, clients, cases, and tasks to supported workflow automations.
MyCase combines lead, case, client, task, communication, and billing functions for law firms. I build workflows around the records exposed by its Zapier connector or an approved Open API integration.

How I use MyCase
A MyCase administrator can authorize the documented Zapier connector for supported lead, client, case, and task workflows. When a project needs data or actions beyond that connector, I verify the exact Open API endpoints, credentials, and sandbox access before scoping a two-way integration. Client-facing messages and case changes remain subject to the firm's permissions and review rules.

Authentication and access
For standard workflow automation, an 8am MyCase administrator authorizes the MyCase connector in Zapier. Deeper custom API access is handled through MyCase's Open API and software-partner process rather than assumed to be self-serve.
Useful data and actions
- Connector-supported client and lead records
- Cases and case changes exposed by the selected MyCase trigger or action
- Tasks and other fields made available by the installed connector or approved API scope
Constraints to confirm
- Only a MyCase admin can install the documented Zapier connection, and Zapier has its own plan, task, and polling limits.
- Open API endpoints, credentials, and sandbox access should be confirmed during MyCase partner onboarding before promising a custom two-way sync.
- Client communications, case data, and billing actions should remain permission-scoped and subject to the firm's confidentiality and review policies.
What I automate with MyCase
New consultation requests routed into connector-supported lead or client workflows
Tasks created when a supported MyCase case trigger is received
Approved client and case fields synchronized with another business system
Internal notifications based on connector-supported case changes
Additional two-way workflows scoped only after Open API access is confirmed
