CalendlyAutomation & Integration

Integrate Calendly scheduling into lead qualification and client onboarding workflows.

I connect Calendly scheduling events to qualification, CRM updates, reminders, cancellation handling, and meeting preparation. Available API operations and webhook events depend on the subscription and authorizing user's role.

How I use Calendly

Calendly webhooks cover supported booking, cancellation, and rescheduling events. I connect those events to workflows that update CRM records, trigger configured confirmation steps, and assemble pre-meeting context for advisors and agents. For real estate, a qualified lead can be offered an eligible event type and available times. For financial services, a confirmed booking can start a pre-meeting workflow that pulls only the CRM context the advisor is authorized to receive.

What the integration supports

Facts checked

Authentication and access

Calendly API v2 uses personal access tokens for an internal integration and OAuth 2.1 for apps connecting multiple Calendly users or organizations. Requests use the resulting token as a Bearer credential.

Useful data and actions

  • Users, organizations, event types, scheduling links, and availability
  • Scheduled event and invitee details, answers, timezone, and status
  • Cancellation and rescheduling relationships
  • Webhook events for invitee, routing-form, and other supported resource changes

Constraints to confirm

  • API access depends on the Calendly subscription and authorizing user's role; organization-wide operations can require owner or admin privileges.
  • Webhook access is reserved for paid subscriptions, and available event types and scopes differ by resource.
  • Endpoint-specific limits apply; Create Event Invitee has billing-tier limits, so integrations must handle HTTP 429 and backoff.
